Man Allegedly Robs Couple, Attempts To R ape Wife In Abia State

A suspected robber, one Chimaobi Kalu, who allegedly robbed one Tobi Ojekayode at gunpoint and attempted to r ape his wife at New Heaven Estate, Olokoro, Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, has been arrested by

the police

The suspect, Kalu, allegedly conspired with two others, now at large, to rob Ojekayode at New Heaven Estate of N50,000 and attempted to r ape his wife.

Acting on a tip-off, police operatives stormed the area and arrested Kalu, while the two other members of his gang escaped.

Police sources told Vanguard that the suspects and other members of his gang had subdued the victims with a fake gun, which was later recovered from the suspect.
