Trending: Buhari’s aide, moderator pull out of conference over Bobrisky

An ongoing conference on new media, organised by Enough Is Enough Nigeria, has suffered a setback after two speakers in one of the sessions pulled out of the event as a result of
the inclusion of Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
Online news website, WuzupNaija, reported that the fate of Thursday’s session of the conference on New Media, Citizens and Governance is now uncertain as two of the four speakers had pulled out of the event.
A Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, was the first to pull out of the event.
He was followed by a member of the Executive Committee of Alder Consulting, Subomi Plumptre, who was to moderate the panel.
Neither does it take away from the laudable objectives of @EIENigeria which Alder has demonstrably supported over the years. -ENDS-

The decision to pull out of the panel session, which had the theme, ‘Rights and Responsibilities| Engagement Unusual: Unconventional uses of new media…’ split opinion with the raging debate trending on Twitter.
